Custom setup questions..
D15b vtec turbo. Just installed it, OMNI quikclutch m/c, EXEDY clutch kit, short shifter,
91 civic dual radiator. Poly urathane mounts, gutted interior, custom 6-point being done soon.
Car is running good. Its a 92 hatchback DX, I put in a mugen chipped p28.
As it is now, i have:
-megan racing and blitz b.o.v
-garrett rebuilt BB t28
-JRC front mount
Im curious as to a couple of things, i need to wire a tach up, what is this d15b capable of revving too?
6,8,10 psi is safe? motors compression is good. running reg 5w30 might switch to synthetic. only 25 km since i installed it. Further into summer i would like to upgrade rods/pistons if i can afford too. If its out of budget im just going to install a Greddy headgasket and ARP head studs
Manifold:
want to stay away from XS mani's, would like to go with LSDs log mani
Injectors:
Idealy id perfer re-furbed injectors which ones are straight drop in, DSM blue/blacktops?
ive heard some DSMs require head trimming, if they do how would i go about doing so?
what other injectors are good to use, $200 range.
intercooler piping:
Ive got a Lincoln electric 100HD pak, fluxcore. Gonna be making the pipes, turbo elbow and downpipe myself.
exhaust:
2.75" or 3"?? will be using SS, with mandrel bends, not sure of muffler, probably a cannon with resonator before rear to keep it quiet. any nessessity to using a flex-pipe on the exhaust or downpipe to keep stress of the mani?
Engine management:
Looking into either some sort of hondata/uberdata program around $500
would like to know what is best to use for my setup.. say 8psi daily, internally gated with FPR and bigger injectors... what kind of power can i be looking at, im hoping 225whp+ put me in low 13's? am i far off?
If hondata/uberdata is overkill, i can go with a wideband and safc 2..and tune myself (alot less $$)
Other:
stainless braided oil lines ill do myself. and weld a bung to the pan.
any tips? what size lines to use for drain and pressure line..
Which blow-off valve and where to hook up boost line too?
Thanks in advance

Just the stock Honda injector seals need a slight boring, the DSM injectors themselves fit fine with a slight cut made to the plastic clip.

That will do.

2.5" will be fine for your setup. 3" is overkill. A flex-pipe is a good idea on the downpipe.

Saying Hondata/Uberdata is an oxymoron. Use Uberdata or Crome, they're free. SAFC is not engine management.
