Looks like the Nopi Nats are going to get rained out this weekend.. so im gonna spend the money i was going to use for NOPI and have an exhaust made. The guy at the muffler shop has really been pushing for a magnaflow.. im curious if anyone has anything to say about them.

Also, what set up have you ran and liked? I had a cannister style exhaust and it was really loud with i was n/a.

is the guy talking about a magnaflow cat-back or a muffler? the mufflers sounds nice. if i were you, i'd go 2.5" straight-piped and a 45 degree bend under the rear control arm so the muffler angles out (but will be hanging low to the ground). i don't think it should be too loud

^^^ that looks gay on most cars. are you boosted now? just get one of those turbo mufflers from the autoparts store and 2.5 mandrel bend with no resonator and it should flow/sound nice. i have 2.25 :P straight through with an ebay special muffler and it sounds nice now that it's boosted, it was kind of loud n/a

 

I got full pre-bent piping for my car, mandrel bent to factory CAD specs, a high flow cat, a magnaflow resonator and Oval ES muffler all from Kteller...with all the appropriate flanges and gaskets.

I really like the sound of my magnaflow. If I were you I would get a magnaflow muffler with and order up the catback from kteller.com. Looks really good for the price.

Yeah, im already boosted. Im going to go with 2.5" piping since ive already had a 2.5" downpipe made.

 

you can allways go with a 3" after the downpipe, it still helps.

I did a 3" out of mandrell bends and used an oval 3" in and 3" out Mangaflow muffler. Its a bit loud but not too bad. But my car feels so much better then when i had the 2.5" piping. 98ctr

 

The guy at the local muffler shop was trying to sell me a turbo muffler also.. i think i may give it a shot, and if i dont like it i can throw on a resonator or a magnaflow muffler.
