my friend gave me his crused dsm bov
will it release pressure normally as if it was uncrushed, or it would be harder to open, and will i get compresser surge

 

I think the only way your going to find out is to try it. Seeing as crushing a bov is not really a precise practice. Good luck with it.

So I would give it a try and if it works GREAT, if not, hey it was free right so it was worth a try!

 

Yeah your just gonna have to try it but my guess is if your running low boost it won't open or open alot slower.
