Crushed DSM BOV

eGay had one "cruched" DSM BOV,

and I wanted to know if anyone has one similar to it, or if I should stay away from this and get the factory "uncrushed".

How much boost are you running? The stock uncrushed DSM will work fine up until a little over 15 psi. After that it starts to leak. People crush it to run higher boost without it leaking. If you aren't running high boost just get an uncrushed one.

Yea just get an uncrushed one. Don't ---- around with some crushed one that could be shitty.

i remember hearing somewhere that if you crush it, it makes the bov louder? is this true

also what does it mean by crush? what do you crush?? lol

if you want a loud ricer bov, get an rfl. the dsm wasnt meant to be loud, it was meant to work.
