Great work. What welder did you use on those welds?

We have a Miller Aerowave. It is a badass machine. I just don't know how to use it very well.

God damn, usually when someone says they are making a manifold on HMT it turns out to be one hell of a nasty creation. using a flux core welder. That manifold looks ------- nice. Almost up there with Shitbird quality, but his welds are amazing.

If that is amature welding with a good welder, maybe I need to invest in a decent welder. My welds look like birdshit. Sometimes they look like a flock of birds with uncontrollable explosive diareha passed by. So sad....

Nice work.

My dad owns the shop. The Miller machine was about $9500 if I recall correctly. It is worth every penny.

Thanks for all of the compliments. I am now going to finally finish up all of the other parts and get this turbo kit put on.

You realy don't need ceramic coating or jet-hot with a stainless manifold as far as the heat is concerned. Stainless has better heat disapation than a coating like Jet-hot. Real ceramic like "swain tech" would only be slightly better. The 2 different materials are fine if you use the right rod. As long as you used a formed or cast elbow you will be fine. You don't want to use mandrel bent stainless for a turbo manifold.
