I did have a 3 inch exhaust and was thinking of making a 3.5 but exhausts piss me off so I think I'm just going to run an open downpipe. Hopefully its not too loud |
Re:cost of downpipe
i used to run with no down pipe period :o straight off the turbo. It was loud when my wastegate leaked but after i fixed that it was pretty quiet but still had that odd sound. I kinda like the coal truck turbo sound :-*

Re:cost of downpipe
Cost me $25 with enough piping to reach the stock resignator and have about 2 feet left over...

Holy ---- :D. That things got more angles than the freaking Stealth bomber. Must have taken a bit of time to get it all perfect. I learned the hard way that mandrels make it so much easier in some cases.

mock weld, mock weld, mock weld.... that's about it... It took more than 5 hours and less than 9hours to build... Works great though.
I got a comp. wheel upgrade and turbine clipped, but added the larger DP and MBC... My boost response is the same, even with the "bigger turbo". |
