coolant cooled instead of water cooled?

Re:coolant cooled instead of water cooled?
Did you read what you wrote?
You say water is better for heat displacement but you need to add the glycol to make it even better. So how is water better than coolant again?
Steve ,I was joking .That water contraption is non-existant!

A higher ratio of water to coolant keeps things cooler. But your environment will dictate what the best ratio is. No Prestone for me. I use water wetter & Distilled water. Dropped my engine temp a little.

haha, I thought he was serious.
I can't see freon working very well. What kind of crazy system are you going to have to run that ----? You would need to convert your entire A/C system into a "turbo cooler" and even then I doubt it would work. That turbo gets ------- hot. I can't see a nice frozen shot of freon hitting a 1200 degree turbo being very nice.

Just so you know, pure water has MUCH better heat displacement than coolant. You only put coolant in to raise the boiling point and lower the freezing point. So, running more coolant than water is worse than straight water.
