hey guys, i bought a volvo 15g turbo off a friend of mine, I haven't recieved it yet but he says that one half of the turbo can almost do a complete 360, he doesnt know a whole lot about turbos, neither do i. i was just wondering if i am screwed, or is it not that hard to adjust it to where i want it and then bolt it in place?? that means i have to figure out how to adjust the wastegate too....this sux, anyone that can give me any advice, it will be greatly appreciated, thanks alot.

all turbos can be adjusted and rotated. you are lucky that it seems to be rotating so simply. i cant rotate mine for crap, and i need too.

 

look at how the WG actuator is mounted. Many are in a solid part of the compressor housing. Just move the housings and drill and tap new holes. Just go shallow on em.

 

but once i have it positioned where i want it, how do i stop it from moving? the wastegate isnt attached right now, so im kind of blind when it comes to re-attaching it.....?

SAFC is not mine, so i wont be using it.....you see the other stuff cuz...umm...im gonna be using it, or should i not use something in conjuction with something else....in simpler terms, what should / shouldnt i use?

 

Where did you get that Intercooler.

 

unless you plan an chiping your ECU, ditch the FMU and keep teh AFC and use soem 450cc injectors
