Why measure it? its not like its going to be 3in OD and 2.5ID, lol.. its going to still be huge inside since CAI are made paper thin. ::)

And usually out of Aluminum so welding a blowoff valve flange on could be a trick. Some use JB weld, others can aluminum weld it. And then theres the few that like to use a Coke can mounted in between ;)

or you can weld the bov a bit lower on a steel pipe running from IC to the cold air pipe

for the bov ill just get some one to weld it and for the cold air ill just find out the diamater of the pipe before i purches it i just wanna get all of my ---- one paper then order i think there like 2.5 or smaller cuz awhile ago i bought one it didnt seem that big and i had a 3" ca on my vr6 and the old one was not a 3 in

this is why my piping is like it is...its not overly attractive...but it functions :). I used my old short ram...and some DSM piping...used the flange/pipe that the 1g was on...a few diesel connectors and some clamps...and wam-presto-pieced together intercooler piping :-X
