Re:cold air intake/ charge pipe

Why measure it? its not like its going to be 3in OD and 2.5ID, lol.. its going to still be huge inside since CAI are made paper thin. ::)

And usually out of Aluminum so welding a blowoff valve flange on could be a trick. Some use JB weld, others can aluminum weld it. And then theres the few that like to use a Coke can mounted in between ;)

Re:cold air intake/ charge pipe

or you can weld the bov a bit lower on a steel pipe running from IC to the cold air pipe

Re:cold air intake/ charge pipe

for the bov ill just get some one to weld it and for the cold air ill just find out the diamater of the pipe before i purches it i just wanna get all of my ---- one paper then order i think there like 2.5 or smaller cuz awhile ago i bought one it didnt seem that big and i had a 3" ca on my vr6 and the old one was not a 3 in

Re:cold air intake/ charge pipe

this is why my piping is like it is...its not overly attractive...but it functions :). I used my old short ram...and some DSM piping...used the flange/pipe that the 1g was on...a few diesel connectors and some clamps...and wam-presto-pieced together intercooler piping :-X
