Clutch question.
I know with my turbo setup I am likely going to need a new clutch right away, especially since my current one is starting to slip a little just with my stock D16Z6. I am looking at a Exedy organic clutch. My hp goal is about 180WHP/170Ft/lb with my current turbo kit, anyone know if this clutch is going to cut it (69% more stock holding power, 1455 clamping force).
Hey..right up my alley. I work for a company that does nothing but whoesale (nothing to the public, just shops) clutches and turn flywheels all day long.
We carry Exedy and sell quite a few. If you plan to go to that horse power level, but not higher, and want to mantain stock "feel" That one would be perfect for you. If you plan to go further in the future..you will have to step up to a puck (ceramic button) clutch of some sort. The only thing that sucks about them is the lack of "slippablity" and the way they RAPE your poor flywheel. Hope I helped ya!
