Ok so I boosted my first ride on saturday a 94 civic si 2dr coupe, d16z6 t25 turbo, hf manifold etc..

everything is running awesome except a few problems..

first my clutch, its slipping as soon as I hit 10 psi at full throttle but its probably a pretty old clutch, will a new stock clutch hold up or do I have to go aftermarket ?


I have a chipped ecu and tuned with crome.. afr's are all good etc.. but for some reason when im in a incline my car will idle at 1500, if i let myself roll back to flat is goes back to 1000.. anyone every had anything like this?
I did it over and over and it actually idles at 1500 when in a incline..


now sometimes my wastegate doesnt open until 14-15 psi, other times it opens at 12.. anyone know why? any solutions? also sometimes when it opens at lets say 12psi (not full throttle) and it drops back to 10psi my car makes like a backfire noise, just a loud pop but keeps pulling..

any answers would help much.. thnx.


ps. i used the dsm 450's, everyone who said to use them your right, they rock

You need a new, aftermarket clutch. The rest of your ---- sounds fucked. I'm glad my tuner saved me from idle issues.

definatly a new aftermarket clutch. Does it idle high at a decline slope or does it drop idle?

hmm i feel stupid.. actually oil was leeking from my feed line down into my inspection plate onto my flywheel so thats solved..

but the idle still idles high at inclines dunno why..

inspect, clean, and check moving parts are tight in both your FITV and IACV.

stock clutch will eventually call it quits on you, i promise.

are either of you using a mbc, im thinking that something might be going wrong with your vacume source.

im not using a mbc, i get my vac. from the cruse control nipple. could that be the problem ?

What type of manfold are you using? internal or external Wastegate? Do you notice more boost when it is colder out or randomly
