Clocked turbo, remounting W/G actuator
OK, so my 14b was pointing up so I clocked it today and now I have the dilema of remounting the actuator for the w/g. Has anyone else done this and have any tips. I was just gonna make a new bracket to attatch it unless there are better ideas out there. OR, I go external wastegate, but that means a new mani so I guess I gotta figure out what I want/need to do. Any tips would be great. As far as external w/g's I have found Turbonetics Evolution models online for about $200. I also found a Tial for $200, so any advice on those?

Re:Clocked turbo, remounting W/G actuator
You can't mount the actuator in the next set of holes, or the closest set of mount holes?
Tial WG's are sexy.

Re:Clocked turbo, remounting W/G actuator
im running a 14B with a BMC adapter plate and HF manifold. the compressor housing is clocked facing upwards. I used one of the two factory bolt holes in the WG bracket and bolted it to the topmost wastegate bolt hole using about 6 washers. it holds steady 9psi.
you can add washers to space it out more for more boost, or you can use a manual boost controller like me.
