T25/T28 TURBO TURBOCHARGER 240SX S13 S14 S15 SR20 SR20D on eBay.ca (item 270621667601 end time 12-Sep-10 10:244 EDT)

Busa would you please have a look at this turbo and let me know what you think. I believe its the T25 I need. Will i be able to make boost around 3000 RPM with this. and also it says the turbo is oil and water cooled so im assuming it wont work due to that my bike is only air cooled ÉÉ

according to the turbo specs its a t3 flange with a massive 86a/r turbine housing and an even more massive 80a/r compressor housing. i think the description is wrong. its a knock off chinese turbo so i would avoid it anyway.

try this one. i had great success with this turbo when i turbochaerged my 05 gsxr 600. it spooled at ~6000 rpm on that little 4 cylinder 600cc engine so it should spool even quicker on your twin.

no. you dont need to use the water cool portion of the turbo. i didnt and it was fine. its not as important on a bike because the turbo will see plenty of air flow unlike a vehicle were the turbo is under a hood.

my recommendation for the k03 was because i had great success using it on my bike. there great little turbos. vw/audi have been using them for over 10 years. your probably not going to find another person with an opinion on this turbo except vw/audi related which wont do u any good. if you want to stick with the garrett(not a chinese knock-off) gt25 that would be another nice choice. make sure you purchase a turbo with a t2 inlet flange or equvilent. any turbo larger than that will be to big and have tremendous lag time if it even boost at all.

someone has a nice small new unused garrett turbo in the for sale section. its small and perfect for low end rpm. it should spool up quickly.
