Re: check engine problem

if your injectors are saturated then you don't need resistors and if they are peak and hold you will need them. shoudl be a part number on the side of them, either post it up or type it into google. guess RC makes both so theres really no telling unless you know the part #

Re: check engine problem

i just went and look the number is RC SL4-440 and it think that it is saturated. that mean i dont need a resistor box right?

yeah, hmm wonder what else it could be

Re: check engine problem

should i just change everything back to OEM like injectors, ECU. and do i have to change the fuel pump too? just to see what happens.

Re: check engine problem

shoudln't have to change the fuel pump but if you do change it back, don't boost on the stock map and injectors lol. just do it to try and narrow down the problem.

Re: check engine problem

so i got home and change back to OEM injectors and ecu. the car ran fine now but the problem is when at a stop light when i go to press on the gas the car want to stall. it take a second or two to pick up but other than that it ran fine than when i get home the engine light came on code 3 (manifold absolute pressure. check the MAP sensor and circuit) so i turn the car off to change the MAP with a one off a working car. and now the car wont start. but it will probly start after the car cools down. so what is the problem now?

Re: check engine problem

ummmmmm. put a coolant temp sensor in it, they are cheap and it is the code it is throwing. Coolant temp will affect the ammount of fuel the car gets. I've seen cars run like ASS because of a CTS.

Re: check engine problem

when i put it back to OEM it runs fine but on the OEM ecu there is a engine code 3 than when i switch back to turbo mode (injectors, chip ecu) than it trows a code 6. they throw different codes between these two ecu's. but there is a problem they both ECU have. when i turn the car off when its warmed up i cant start the car back up until the car is completely cooled. i can turn the car on and off when ever i want when the engine is cool. does anyone know about this problem?
