Hey everyone I was just curios to what size charge pipes everyone is using? 2, 2 1/4, 2 1/2, or 3 Thanks and also if you could post which turbo, amount of boost, and engine this is on. Nick

im just trying to figure what size I should go with on my d16z6 with the .48 .60 t3 turbo the one that everyone is getting off of ebay.

 

most people run 2.25 or 2.5, you cant go wrong

 

The way i did it was i figured what would be most cost effective. My intercooler came w/ 2.5" In/outlets and my TB is 2.5" so basically the best way for me to do it was 2.5" pipes. My turbo's outlet is only 1.75" or so so what i did was i went to an auto parts shop and bought one of those lil reducers 2.5->2.0" and im going to jb weld that on my charge pipe. then get a 2" coupler and connect the turbo to the charge pipe. this way i didnt have to buy a bunch of reducers which are quite spendy.

yah see I want 2 1/4 but I dont think custom coach makes that size. Just 2 and 2 1/2 inch. I think 2 will be to small and 2 1/5 might be a little over kill. I guess im going to just check out jc whitney.
