yep, check engine light is on. the code is BARO- atmospheric pressure sensor.

WTF is that. I'm assuming it's similar to the map sensor, or in other words, the car is sensing boost. Any ideas on how to get rid of it? Maybe my VAFC hack isn't working correctly?

nah probably happened about 20 minutes after i boosted it. I remember i put it on the floor once and then it came on. I tried resetting the ECU but it didn't go away; then again i don't think i had the battery cable disconnected long enough.

Okay, talked to my instructor (since i'm going to new england tech for automotive) and he said the barometric pressure sensor is similar to a map sensor (as i had suspected) and reads the actual pressure of the atmosphere, hence at sea level it should read 14.7, and up in colorado it's probably lower. So i'm assuming that somehow this thing is sensing my boost possibly? Wish i knew where it's located. Anyone else ever throw a code like this?

Wish I would have seen this post earlier I would have helped out But, I see your running an AFC for fuel management. If you were running Uberdata (Convert your OBD2 to OBD1) you could disable that sensor and it will not throw a code. It's odd you got it when you boosted but your instructor is 100% about it's function. I'm not sure why your car is throwing that code. Reset it and then try boosting again to see if it sets it off again.
