ive ran 3, all worked great. the one i have now was supposed to be a 7psi spring...well, it was closer to 15

running a Tial 11psi spring in it right now, at 20psi daily. 7500 miles and counting

just run boostcut on your ROM editor and you should be fine. i have mine set at 22psi just in case

 

i may be biased, but i used for for a while with no problems. the only reason i have a turbonetics now is cause someone was willing to trade me a mint one for a new type-s knock BOV. it was a super cheap name brand wastegate for me, otherwise i would still be running the CDm one

i've never taken a wastegate apart before Is it difficult to put back together, or is it fairly simplistic in design?
I noticed on EBAY they're actually selling new diaphragms for wastegates.

It says it fits OBX and Tial 'gates, and the CDM 1's are knock-offs, but do these diaphragms actualy work in the CDM 'gates?

 

it's very simple in design.

 

I have been running one for over a year now. Works just like the day i got it. same with my ebay shitty turbo. Over a year and still works perfectly.

 

they are all the same. it will work. they arent hard to take apart and put back together, you just have to be careful when you take the last 2 bolts out. the spring in there is pretty stiff. when you take the 2nd to last bolt out you need to hold it together while you take the last one out or it will break the last bolt. then once you get the last bolt out then just slowly open it up with both hands. putting them back together is a lot easier with a big C-clamp

 

On some gates you can use two long bolts/cap screws to compress and decompress the spring...
