ok i put my turbo in last monday and about wed it started smoking as soon as i changed the gas, u put 93 in it, and its like white greyish smoke. it smokes wen i start the car wen its cold, like at idle, and when boost kicks in and sometimes wen im in 5th when i let go of the gas it comes out alot, i think the motors gona go but some people say different, wat can b the problem.

 

hmm if its a dark color blackish then your running rich. if its blue then your burning oil. to me it sounds like your running a little rich

Sounds a little like turbo seals because those will smoke when you let off the gas. Go drive down a big hill and shift into a low gear and let the engine slow the car down. If smoke goes everywhere, it's turbo related.

 

the turbo is in good condition really no shaft play at all, really good condition.
and im going to try to go down a hill and see what happens if it smokes.

 

id say turbo seals....unless u blew ur motor already...what kinda boost and management are u running?

 

When my turbo seals were bad my shaftplay was still perfect. Check IC pipes for oil.
