cloud of white smoke out the exhaust everytime i stop but it only happens when car is cold, just barely started up and driving for 5-10 minutes. is this normal or something bad happened?

 

Sounds liek a blown headgasket and water is getting into your combustion chamber.
Coudl also be vapours though.. hard to tell.

 

how thick is this white smoke your talking about? you may have some whitish smoke upon start up due to water in your exhaust system, but i wouldnt really describe that thick white smoke. thats more like translucent.
