plug gap doesnt care what brand of car you have, but more on the conditions inside the cylinder.
try a step colder on your plugs too.

my plugs are also what was recommended to me by the top focus tuners, so i think they should be fine as well.
Im going to change back to my stock plug wires and see what happens with that. i am glad you guys are suggesting something along the lines of ignition though because thats what everyone else that ive asked is saying too.

Then shut the ---- up carry your *** back to yoru tuner who cant fix it and stop posting you fuckwad. Its a goddamn car if you cant troubleshoot it you probably shouldnt modify one.
Especaily since you can not grasp the concept of spark plug gaps. Its not like you are trying to tune the damn thing.
Just go die.

Try plug wires. Anytime you have something wrong with ignition, always try another set of wires.
BTW: What state are you located in? I have a friend with a focus that wants a chip/reflash for his to make it a little better.

it sounds like your mAd tYTe JdM To0n3r$ know more about how to rip off sideways hat tuner bois, rather than actually tune cars.

Send your Focus friends to me, I'm in Western NC. I like cars and I know my ---- first and foremost, my need to pay my bills and feed my family comes second, and my need to make lots of money to buy toys with comes about forty-ninth.

Yeah, JD
We're in washington and I dont' think my friend want to make a drive to the east coast.
Anyone know somebody in WA or OR that does fords?
He wants some expensive chip in his pile of ----, I keep telling him to find a domestic tuning shop and try to reflash or get a chip from them, will be much cheaper and better, too.

The way boost, coil, and plug gap all works: boost increases the density inside the cylinder. The spark has far more atoms to zap through, and the coil says "oi, decrease the gap fucktard!" in the manner of stuttering like an invalid child you. You then decease gap. I don't really give a flying ---- if your boy wrote the entire 2-page novel on Foci tuning, he wasn't even shitting in diapers when the turbocharged gasoline engine was on its way to being perfected in racing, and he obviously never wrote a paragraph of how electricity jumps between electrodes. The worst thing that will happen with a tiny gap like that is a 1-2% loss in power where a larger gap could be used, such as high vacuum cruising.
