Can Turbo effect braking.

Can Turbo effect braking.
While testing the high boost on the car. I think we went upto 16 PSI.
Just after this I notice the brake oil warning light. When we checked it out we found the seals on the rear brake drum where blown.
The rear uses brake shoes that are actuated Hydraliclly.
Is there any reason why runing high boost should cause this to happen.
I know most of you guys are probally not familar with Brake show based barke systems ?.
Should I put in a one way valve or restrictor into the pipe that connects from my manifold to brake booster ?

Re: Can Turbo effect braking.
no it wil not effect braking unless there`s a hole that leaks vaccum/boost into the Hydralic system, but then the brake line pressure is so high that it should blow fluid back into your engine lol
There`s already a one way valve in your brake booster vaccume line.
change the seal and get over it. you Think too much. :P

Re: Can Turbo effect braking.
A mate had a brake failure. And was told. The brake booster is designed to work on Vacum. ANd not see boost. Esp. boost values as high as 16-20 PSI.
And we where debating ways to save the booster and this from hapening again.
Obviouslly not a problem faced by the Honda crowd. This hasnt happend on my car. But I do worry about it.
