Braking in an engine!
I just put some new pistons into my b16 and Ive heard so many different things. some people are telling me to take it easy on the engine and keep it in low RPM's for the first 2000 miles others are saying 500 miles. Then some people are saying just rape the engine drive it like you stole it. I dont know what to do. what do you guys thing.

ridge? josh this isnt a v8, and hopefully the block was re-honed and installed with new piston rings. Ensuring that the rings will seal up properly. I break in engines, driving pretty easy.. say 100 miles or so.. then change the oil, Then I start taking trips to redline.
Everyone has their own views on how to break in engines, ---- I know guys who baby their engines until like 2000 miles.
