i know that psi on an external wg can be changed with changing a spring...can the stock psi of an internal wastegate be changed and if so...how?

 

The only ways I know are buy a different wastegate with a higher psi spring or make a homemade manual boost controller and trick the spring << 15 bucks and fast way to do it.

 

You can turn the boost up with a boost controller.

 

You can raise and lower boost by shortening and lengthening the rod. I wouldn't reccomend messing with the rod because it always seems to lead to probs down the road. With a boost controller of some sort you can only raise boost.

 

you can use a spring on the wastegate arm, use one to hold it shut and it raises the boost, one pulling it open (without opening it on its own) lowers the boost. Works just like changing the spring
