Can low impedance injectors/resistors be used with 1999 Ford EEC-V?
It appears to be fairly common to use low impedance injectors and resistors with Hondas, Mitsubishis, Nissans, Toyotas and standalones. I would like to know if this will work with a 1999 Ford 2.5 four cylinder ECU (EEC-V). It seems like in the aforementioned examples the ECU's were designed with the idea of using either low impedance w/resistors or high impedance. The EEC-V was designed only for high impedance injectors.
Any help?

Yeah it will "work" if you use 10 ohm resisiters in line with each low imp injector. But if you can afford to buy a 1999, then you can afford to buy the right injectors. Why hack up a harness on such a new car?
I won't be hacking up a 1999 car. I have a 1973 Porsche 914 powered by a 1986 Ford 2.3t bolted to a 1989 Escort trans. My brother gave me a complete 1999 Ranger 2.5 NA motor. The engines share enough parts that a 2.5 turbo can be built. I am trying to make the best of the parts I have on hand.
