Can I run 6 psi on a stock LS?
I have a 98 B20B block with a 96 LS in my hatch, I purchase a turbo kit from a friend that comes with a stock saab garrett turbo T3, internal wastegate, downpipe, front mount intercooler and Blitz BOV welded on the pipe, it also has a vortech FUM and Blitz turbo timer and all oil and vaccum lines, boost guage and air fuel ratio guage, and i recently bought a B series manifold which I will later try to make a custom adapter plate, but I've done alot of reasearching and was wondering if the kit is complete?? I've heard that i might need bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, missing link, AFVC controller or chip turbo ECU...all i want is 4-6 PSI......any help thanks

1 bar isnt that like 15 psi? how do you have a b20 block with a 96 ls in your hatch? do you mean you have a b20 block on the side in case you blow it? or do you have the b20 with the ls head? i dont know. either way i would run 10 psi. just as long as you have a good tune you shouldnt be worried about it. just have kevin (projekteg) chip and burn a base map and chip your ecu for you if it hasnt been chipped yet for a small fee ofcourse. and get it tuned later. just so u can run a basemap just to be able to drive the car in the meantime. buy some dsm 450's. there like 50 bucks check the classifieds. but u would need to wire up some resistors or get a resistor box. or you could buy some injectors from stealthmode or tuner toy's. same thing and not have to run resistors. good luck!

I'm assuming you have a b20 block and an LS head, right?
You can run 10 psi but not with an FMU. If you are only thinking about using an FMU do not go past 6psi. I didn't read the whole thing, but you also need a missing link or some check valves for your map sensor, so it doens't read boost, or positive preassure.
If you decide to go with the AFC, you should also get bigger injectors, the DSM 450cc injectors are good for 10-12 psi safely, if tuned properly. This is one of the best options if you do not know how to tune and do not want to learn. Go to a shop get it dyno tuned, and don't touch anything.
Uberdata is free, but you would need to go with an OBD1 ECU, and someone that can install the chip and tune it for you, if you can't do it yourself.
Hope this helps
