can i keep ac with a d16z6 in a 92-95 civic. with the standard manifold.
I was wondering if i could because i live in florida and it gets hot as hell down here. and is it cheap to buy another manifold for the t25 to fit on. and can i mount the turbo so that the intake side is facing the left of the car when you look at it. Also i would like some advise. my friend has a wrecked 97 gst eclipse can i use the fuel pump off of it on a 92-95 civic? thanks for the help everyone.

std/hf manifold is poss to retain ac, but you just have to get very creative when making your adapter plate and have the right sized turbo to fit...check my page in my sig for ideas.

I was fairly confident that I would keep my A/C on my 95 del Sol. After doing some test fits and whatnot it just wasn't gonna work. Didn't really see how i was gonna get charge piping from the compressor outlet to the intercooler, so off it went. But obviously it is possible.

With a T25 and STD manifold... maybe with some wacky *** plate.. but I highly doubt its possible, or maybe if you used an incredibly tight downpipe/custom o2 housing.

I'm facing the very same ------- problem ... although I don't have the STD Manifold, but the one on the SSAc Kit.
We will turn the Turbo around ... but then we will need to make a custom DownPipe...

well i have accomplished it with a te04h and also did it with an old turbo off of a 300zx(like 87 model). i cut the mouting plate on the cat of an hf manifold used that and made my own plate to mount the turbo. then i use regular 2.5" pipe and made a 90 degree bend. used the bend to fit between the manifold plate and turbo plate. then kept cutting the bend till it fit just right. i did have to remove the ac fan and put a real skinny one on there but that is all. i mounted it with the compressor side toward the passenger side. and it looks pretty damn good if i say so my self. wish i had pics. ill try to get some. oh this was on a 95 lx

Everyone keeps saying over and over that it is possible but you need to make some wacky adapter plate that shifts the turbo. Someone should really think about producing these cause i know personally, i'd buy two

I'm trying to keep the ac on my d16a6 hatch cuz i live in GA and the summers can suck pretty bad. I'm doing the plate off the std mani w/ a 90 degree 2 inch sch 40 elbow, then a plate for the turbo and some kind of weird downpipe. Maybe i'll try to sell some, hmmmm i'll let you know how it turns out, should be a month
