I'm using a 14b turbo and the stock o2 housing won't fit (so i won't even have an o2 sensor in the piping).

I need to take my car to the exhaust shop to get some piping welded up on the car to connect to the exhuast.

Will I harm anything by trying to drive it with nothing connected to the exhaust side of the turbo? (besides the insane noise).

 

Make sure that there isn't any plastic that the hot exhaust gases can melt. other than that you should be good.

 

just drive slow, keep the rpms low and make sure there is nothing hanging in the front of the exhaust housing or it may get melted

 

It will make a huge carbon deposit wherever it shoots out at. So if you bottom of your hood is white, it's gonna ruin it

 

Dont even trip man, youll be fine, the carbon deposit rubs off with a wet towel if u even care. But No engine wise, the car will be fine

 

Well, with no o2 sensor it's going to be running rich as ----, but that's ok. I would prefer not to have an exhaust.

You can as long as your neighbors dont mind.I did like 20 passes around my hood with no down pipe and no one called the cops on me :P.If you live in the booonies or out side of Natzifornia(Cali.) I dont think anny one would care.
