just wanted to know if any one knows this off hand. and to run a good turbo ste up should i swap out the z6 head in favor of the d15b7 head i have laying around let me know what u guys think i want it to be reliable and onley plan on using afc hack and msd boost retarder plus 450 injectors of course.... :P

D16a6 head has a better cam and can be bought for around $100...
i have aD16Z6 and A6 head right now. I'm working on finishing the turbo set-up in the next few days..
8.4/1 compression or stock 9.2/1 compression.
how much boost and what turbo are you planing on using ?
IE: T-3 .60/.48 trim @ 10+psi = D16Z6 with A6 head 200++whp
OR
TD04-13g at 10psi = stock compression around 200whp
This is all IMO..
Some people suggest different things, but high compression and turbos don't live an easy life unless you have an EMS.
The D16Z6 doesn't have really high compression in the first place, just know that you can run more boost on a DAILY bases with lower compression.

well i havent figured out what turbo yet it will be a junk yard one forsure though this is all low budget. thanks for the info. i allso heard that a d15b7 bottom end is better for turbo app can any one confirm this??

A6 block
Z6 ( or maybe D16A1 ) internals
Y8 intake manifold
Y8 head ( IF compression is no problem )
Best of all D-series parts.
Fatroy turbo honda parts would be :
D16A6 block, D16A6 head, D16Z6 internals, D16Y8 intake manifold.
Strong and low compression.
Z6 ( or maybe D16A1 ) internals
