Default .42/.48 on b18b

has any one actual run this setup...cause i can get a .42/.48 t3 turbo for cheap and i just want to get my turbo setup going..dont have enough money for a .63a/r ... and i have a ys1 trans short gears..would it be better to use the smaller one cause if i use the .63 i wouldnt be in full boost alot cause my gearing is short?

good observation about the low gearing, i have the same turbo, its supposed to spool at low RPMS, so if your shifts are short, something not much larger wouldnt do your car the justice... i suppose thats why rally cars dont use large turbos.. final word: rock that turbo or something slightly larger...

cfms are good, the more cfm the more combustable air molucules u are getting in thier at a certian psi .....right??kinda like the compressor wheel is compressing the air tighter but ive herard it said lets say a t25 at 12 psi will be fine on a small motor but a large t3 at 12 psi might flow to much cfm and blow ur motor
