built d16y8 with 9.0:1 compression, want to switch to ITB's
i have a d16y8 that's sleeved, has pistons/rods, new HG, polished crank, and ported head w/ a SRR cam gear
i had a turbo on there and it was fun, but i want to switch over to ITB's just for the hell of it, plus they sound freaking amazing
the motor is in an 88 hatch standard converted to mpfi and running jumper harness to obd1 w/ p28 chipped with crome
would my 9.0:1 compression ratio hurt performance if i choose the route of ITB's? should i just stick with turbo...stock motor is about 9.6:1 and i really dont feel like ripping this whole motor apart again just to change the pistons
