I like the 4G63 engines. with those cast iron blocks, they're like tanks, cant destroy em.

Is the rumor true that "most" (say like.. 1990 and above, im not sure) Nissan engines have forged rods, pistons and crank?

I've heard that but never had any experience with nissan really. I swapped an SR20 into a 240 but never opened up the motor. I do know that the RB series (skyline motor) they tested the factory internals/block and it with held all the boost nissan could throw at it. basically indestructable.

BMW can handles lots of boost, stock turbo M3 can handle about 600whp stock. D series is indestructible even at its limit, oh and nissan's ka24 can handle 300whp + with good/decent tunning (forged rodas and crank).

ive had my accords stock 135k mile A20A3 engine to 13psi with spikes to 16-17psi on pump gas over 2 seasons, ive had it boosted for nearly 3 years though. I recently lost the engine due to bearing carnage but other than that the compression is 175psi across the board.

Umm, maybe you haven't actually looked at the specs on an S54 motor. 11.5:1 SCR is boost friendly? I didn't know that. Maybe you know more about them than I do, but there is a jet black E46 m3 vert sitting in the garage. And there are few (if any) boosted E46 m3's making over 500whp, let alone 600. I am just wondering where you found a boosted S54 making 600whp on a stock motor. Don't post garbage, some people may believe you.

Unless you crank walk, or have anything other than the 6 bolt bottom to try and make serious power. Then they explode very nicely :P
