Like I said the car isnt going to see any attention for about a month or so because im in the process of moving.
When I move Ill have my own garage to pull the car apart in.
So im not sure its a rod bearing. All I did was look under the VC for a broken retainer or valve spring.
Do the TT rods still need to be honed to fit the wrist pins ? I probably will just go with the cheapest set I can get, if I even need a full set.
I do have a spare Y7 crank, just unsure if I want to use it.

Damn you were doing all of this without your own garage. Sound like me when I was in college doing engine swaps either on the side of the double wide in dirt or section 8 housing under the street lights.
