Default breather

Is running the breather exactly like a honda factory setup bad? My guess that boost wouldnt be good in the valve cover. I have been trying to seal every pin hole in my charge pipes but running boost into the VC would waste boost. I see most people running a breather filter like a lot of ricers do but there are also negative affects (so ive been told) from doing this.

You don't run it to the charge pipes. You run it to the intake side of the turbo.

the best thing to do is run the line from the valve cover to an oil seperator/catch can, and from there (like dr.boost said), to the intake side of the turbo.

Man what are you talking about?!?!?!? You do NOT want boost in the valve cover! You want boost in the charge pipes - intake mani - head - combustion chambers. You want oil in the valve cover, that's it. There is a reason your car has a pcv (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve - to vent positive pressure!

The absolute best thing to do is to run it into the exhaust. (You CAN'T just hook a hose right up to the exhaust) Summit sells a kit with a one way valve that allows you to do this. Doing this causes a vaccum from the exhaust and sucks the positive pressure out of your head. This really helps to eliminate blow-by and is the absolute best.

Anybody with a cracked pistons, ring lands or bad blow by knows what I'm talking about becuase they probably experienced the dipstick shooting out of the block.
