Default BOV Question

Below is a picture of my BOV. I don't know anything about BOV flanges, but I'm curious how people are installing these knock off BOV's. At the very least, what flange should I use. Any help on the install would really help.

Thanks

is it aluminum? it should have come with a steel pipe that you weld to your charge pipes and it connects to that. if it's not aluminum, you can just weld it to your charge pipes.

Nope! What you see in the picture is exactly what I got. There are no mounting screws to mount it to anything else. Only what's in the picture. Guess I'll just drill a hole and JB weld the son-of-a on there.

i had the exact same BOV. it would flutter like the wings on a humingbird. in other words, it sucked big time. i ended up having to replace it cause i had it on with the cap loose tryin to make it work right and the cap came off while driving and the piston and spring jumped out onto the road, i got outta the car and i couldn't them. i ordered a knock off rfl bov and it just kicks but. that one you need a short 1 inch tube welded onto your charge pipe and then you connect a hose to the tube and the bov bottom goes into the hose, and clamped down. if yours doesn't flutter=compressor surge, sounding like a scared pigeon, play the lotto cause it's your lucky day.

What is it made of??

You can weld it to a like substance.

If it is aluminum just weld it to an alum tube and connect the tube to your pipes.
