Default boosting the gs

i got a 1990 integra im rebuilding the motor, it had a burnt valve. i just dropped in a set of eagle rods and wiseco pistons. i bought a used turbonetics 60-1 i think its gonna be too big im looking to make 300 wheel would a 14b do the trick or will it be too small? and if so what would be max boost on a 14b? or would a t25 from a sr20det work? and what would be max boost on that?

btw my daily driver is a 96 civic 4 door ls swapped with a jrsc @10 psi

whats the specs on the turbonetics? the t25 and 14b turbos maybe too small for 300 hp. they may get you there but your most likely going to have to over rev them to do it which is not efficient. id stick with the turbonetics that way you wont have to upgrade later.

14b and any t25, like busa4 said, will be too small. A GT28RS (disco potato) is good for mid range power and quick spool. T3 60 trim is good top end and you can find manifolds to fit this up the wazoo. A 60-1 will be way too big and way too laggy for your hp goals.

looks like a waste of money, if i ever saw one... you won't get over 200hp with that setup. T25's too small and it looks like the "kit" is pretty basic.

You do realize that you're on HOME MADE turbo.com eh?

When i did mine, in the end, i bought:
used Turbonetics t3/t04e
factory Garrett rebuild kit
used real greddy bov
used real tial WG
ebay cast iron log manifold (DO NOT get ebay steel manifolds, it WILL crack)
used 450cc DSM injectors (they are plug and play for you)
honda injector seal kit
ebay oil/vacuum line kit
ebay CXRacing intercooler kit
sent my ecu to xenocron for chipping and base tune
then had a local tuner tune it
3" downpipe that ended at the cat

I ran 8lbs daily, dyno showed around 225 hp.
think i made out a little over $1000.
