boost not building-up :(

Re: boost not building-up :(
@Xgenturbo:
Yes! my acctuator rod is adjustable with a screw, therefore i can tighten it as far as i want to. but still it would open somehow and would drop the boost if the acctuator has a 5/6psi spring . i also have doubts on my wastegate acctuator, so i just borrowed the stock wastegate acctuator of 4g63t (2nd Gen, TD04H) hope that ill mount it on my 16g today and test things out. Hope this solves my problem
That (borrowed) acctuator seems very tight. how much is the stock setting for td04h turbo's wastegate acctuator? cuz its seems like thrice of what im already running
@1NISMO
BOV?? i dont think BOV could be the issue cuz i have the vacuum/boost lines connected to the BOV which means that boost would try to close it up which would equal the strength of the boost buildingup. still ill replace the spring of bov by a harder one.
BTW this is an unbranded BOV, but we have been using the same on several turbo setups and works really well. no probs with it yet.
@burkej62
Yes!! restricted exhust could be an issue to. but ill come on to it after i'm done and satisfied with the acctuator issue, Open exhust/downpipe would be my second thought
Ill update u guys after installing the wastegate acctuator tomorrow.
Thanks for ur support and help

Re: boost not building-up :(
GReddy 15g (mitsu td04h-15g) - 5.5psi
According to FI Sticky above. That internal gate acuator should feel really tight. You should have to Pull it out a little to slide over the barrel of the WG flapper.
