Boost Controller.

Hey there. I am new here. I have a question. I am installing a t-25 turbo into my 88 civic. It has an internal wastegate set at 8 psi. Do I need a boost controller for this or are they used for external wastegates? Thanks.

Do you "NEED" one? No.. if you want one, yes you can put one on.

I plan on installing an external wastegate, but not right now. So I can go without for now?

Well, if you want more boost than your wastegate can provide then use a controller.. if not, then don't.
