Default boost all over the place

i dont get this... turned up the boost a little more now that my wideband came and all. well off the line she hit 10psi while the wheels were spinning. as soon as they started to grip it drops down to like 7, the goes up to bout 8 and stays there most of the time with a slight drop off and the raise again. what the hell could be causeing this? a shitty manual bosot controller? boost leaks? i pressureized the system the other day and she held 19psi just fine (droped off pretty slow) so i dont really think its a bosot leak. is it normal for the bosot to dropm off once the tires stop spinning any ideas on whats up?

you guys have got that backwards, more load when not spinning than when spinning, cars that don't spin (launching at the track) brake axles and other driveline parts and cars that spin don't.

...but because the rpm is lower as soon as traction starts, their would have been less exhaust gasses driving the turbine so possibly that is why.

Good points made for the load/no load torque specifications. Regardless of what is happening, there is a part failure. Any way to try a diff bleed screw boost controller? Suprised you don't have a nice expensive ebc looking at your ride.

so you think the crazy boost changes is due to the tires spinning or the mbc?

What a POS. Why not just shell out for a real one.. hope that company doesn't screw & run with you. It "looks" like it should work tho.

Typically you will see more boost while not under a load, since the rpms can easily climb. Just turn the boost up some and see if you get a little bit more while driving.

lmao. i figured a mbc is a mbc, all work the same way. guess maybe not though. but so then you're saying it is normal to have higher boost when there's no traction?
