Default bogging at 5k

hi all

ive been boosting now since sunday and have a problem! my cars feels fast until 5k and then it boggs slightly at 5k and then feels slower than stock afterwards.

What have i done wrong or what is wrong with the car?

I have a B16a2, running the vafc hack

settings are

low
1k = 34
2k - 9k = 36

high
1k - 9k = 36

dsm 450's

Make sure your vtec cross over points are correct along with the fueling points for vtec.

500 RPM before Vtec and 500 RPM after vtec.

If that's all right, then just lean it out at 5000 and above and see if that works.

did you turn your tmiing all the way back? You only want to retard it a degree or two... how much boost are you trying to run?

you want the % at a negative ( - ) so -34%, -36%, your wayyyyyyyyyyy over-richening the fuel by doing +34... you might wanna do -40% even.

I'm sure he meant he was doing -34 and -36, he wasnt going +34 and +36 on his fuel curve, that would bog all the time, not just at 5K.
