You don't need the water. Just don't use it if you don't want to.

It's not hard to hook up though. I would hook it up anyways....

there is a line to your throttle body (3/8" coolant line) just get two 90 degree barbed to barbed 3/8" fittings, some hose clamps, and 6 feet of 5/16" fuel line (it's a bitch to get on the fittings so do them off the car, they'll go into the stock line easier. you use 5/16" cause the coolant lines on the turbo are 5/16" and 3/8" might leak

I say run the coolant. For the 20 bucks and hours worth of time you wil spend you are keeping your turbo much cooler than if you just plugged up the hole. You would also negate the need to install a turbo timer.

Run the coolant. Its a great feature to not use. And is very easy to hook up. And will increase the life of your turbo.

Damn... I was going to ask how to get the coolant back out, but I think I get it now. So you cut the line, reroute it to the turbo and then after it runs through the turbo you run it back to it's original direction to the TB? I have the water cooling option too, but I wasn't sure how to use it (I was thinking of tapping into a coolant line, but I couldn't think of a way to get it back in). Is there any lag on the coolant (like the gravity oil drain) or does it haven enough pressure to keep things moving?

I would think your water pump would be able to keep things moving well enough.
