Default Bitch *** oil leak

I've got a small oil leak at the bottom of my oil return. I've got a stealthmode kit but it hangs a little too low with the adapter plate. I cant get this bitch to seal up. Other than buying an AN fitting, you guys have any suggestions?

The barbs that I put in the kits are 1/2" diameter. The inner diameter of the drain line is actually 5/8. The reason I don't put 5/8 barbs in the kit is because once you put them on, they don't ever never ever come off. I've vowed to keep the kit idiot proof, but if you want it on there forever, and sealed for damn sure, than get a 5/8 barb fitting and you're good. The future problems that you have because the turbo hangs low are another story.

Stealthmode, I'm not blaming you at all. I know it wouldnt leak if the turbo sat higher.
I dont want to replace that fitting because I am done with that ------- oil pan.

Has anyone used anything to make a seal between the return line and the fitting so it wont leak any oil?

If the fitting is good and you're just having issues at the hose/fitting junction, I would take that junction apart, clean it real good, and put it back together. You may want to use the most heavy duty clamp you can find.

Same problem here. -AN lines are made to utilize -AN fittings, so, I bought -10AN fittings only to find out that the line was not going to attatch to the fittings due to lack of room and space. After installing the adapter and the -AN fitting on either side they were practically touching. I went and brought the barbed fitting to the auto parts store and bought a heater hose that fit perfectly. I installed the rubber hose and used hose clamps, and leak is gone. I wrapped the hose with some aluminum heat reflective tape to shield it but I dont think it will see that much heat anyway. Ill run it and see what happens.

I was stupid with my return, I put my babr to close to the top and I couldnt squeeze a clamp between it so I used some jb weld and its on there golden with zero clamps and it works fine

I think what I'll try is wrap take the line off and wrap a -----ton of high temp RTV on the pan fitting and slide the line over it. Hopefully it will make a seal in that junction. If that doesnt work, I'll try what civicsi said with a more flexible line.
