Very nice job though. It looks good.
10 bucks. I'm in Canada, I paid 38.00 for my 180 making my DP. When you have a band saw, You start he up, walk away while it cutting and come back for a few minutes of welding. Sure it took my longer but not that bad. I changed my oil, put in a different rad, and thermostat while i did this.

Looks great,
I need a lot more practice to get my welds looking that nice, and you did it on a 110V also? May I ask what welder did you use?

daaaaaamn that is way too much for a U-bend. I have a band saw and i would be willing to make my own if I had to pay that much american. Sucks to be in canadia I guess.

^^^
Ya, I can find a decent muffler for an equivalent Canadian price here and no shipping costs.

Welder was a Lincoln Mig Pack. I just have alot of practice on shitty welder so I know how to set them hot and run my welds for good penetration. My last job had 1-2 shitty 550 Millers that had to be played with inorder to get it right, so I learned to was and listen to my welds to find out what needs to be changed.

I pick the band saw up a while ago for 225CAN. The Cheapest(and Crappy) Chopsaw was 170.00, Decent one is 200.00, and I hate chopsaw sparks, nothing like getting metal dust and peices cleaned out of you eyes at the ER!

Yup, nothing like having a drill taken to your eye and 3 check up to inspect for rust!!! I could see right for about 3 months!!!
