just wantin some input on what this turbo is gonna perform like. it's a 6.2L GM deisel turbo, and there's no specs on it, but it says that it's a borg warner/ihi, and it looks like it has a standard t3 exhast flange. the inlet is 3 inches, and the outles is 2.5 on the compressor. what do you think this thing'll spool up by?? should i try runin it?

 

what motor is this going on?? i think it would be a beast on a B-series motor.

 

I think you are gonna have a hard time spooling it no matter what motor you have. However, I know that Ghettoturbo had some type of diesel turbo on his civic (not sure what motor), so you might want to talk to him about it. I'm sure people will chime in here though

 

What spec is it? GM4, GM5, GM6, etc?

I have a Borg Warner GM8 that needs a rebuild. After searching I came up with these specs:

.60 A/R turbine
.70 A/R compressor w/46 trim

i personally wouldn't want anything larger than a .63 a/r turbine on a stock b series motor

 

Do a google search for G Pop Shop. They rebuild turbos and answered some questions about my GM8. Shoot them an email. They might be able to tell you the specs on that thing.
