big ole turbo. any thoughts?

I wouldnt even hesitate... put it on there and see what happens. Big turbos that lag is just a form of traction control.

Aren't you using a fairly large turbo on your hatch?

Aren't you using a fairly large turbo on your hatch?
Yup, .60cold/1.0hot.. I'm actually upgrading to a .70/.84

Yup, .60cold/1.0hot.. I'm actually upgrading to a .70/.84

Sweet. I'd be interested in seeing how that spools given those specs are almost identical to the GM8 and I have a DOHC ZC as well.

I still think this is a really bad idea for a car that's not going to live on a drag strip. heh.

Either way it oughta be interesting as hell!

the only problem i'm seein w/ this thing is that on the exhaust side has the internal wastegate hole recessed down into the housing a little bit and i'm not quite sure how i'm gonna block it off and run an external gate. any thoughts?
