Hey I have everything for my setup except the intercooler and wondered which one would be best to use based on size and efficinecy. Someone offered me one of those black volvo ones for 50 bucks, but they are huge and dont know if it will work. Unfortunately around here, they are no starion intercoolers so I'm looking for my best bang for my buck, no more than 100 dollars. Thanks

 

a friend of mine who's a welder boosted his 89 civic & used a ford bronco radiator cut in half as an intercooler & he's running 8 psi. Been boosting it for 5 months now. His charge pipes sorta stay cool enough to touch so i guess it's working.

 

I`ve heard of people getting intercoolers from tractor trailers for like $20 cutting them down and they work great, never actually seen one in person but I don`t see why it wouldn`t work. If you try that please Email me and tell how it turns out
