I guess it was a good thing I went to tose b-day parties...otherwise I wouldn't have had the chance to make one of the little kids help me tighten the bulkhead fittings inside the gas tank. Since my hands are about 14X too big to fit through that hole. LOL... you should've seen the look on that little boyz mother's face, when she saw her 4 year old arm-pit deep inside of a gastank...haha physco mother!!! she though I was going to kill him. even though I washed it out 5 times with soapy water.

video of my progress so far... I have to machine another .100 of the fuel rail tonight so after that and 2 more connectors to wire up.... BBBBrrrrrrruuummm. Oil pump in still at work with the ol'man so that will be another week I think before I can show vids of how we did that. All is well so far. I'm done with the mega config. Have to run a 12v back through for relays for coil/injector power and harness is done. I'm almost out of motivation.... it's been a LOT of work so far. enough to write a novel for sure!

stay tuned! ~ BG

Yeah so I finished all the wiring and some other ----... I still have some loose ends to work out. I came across a bug on the mega board. I have to go through and double check all my cap.'s and the reg. I'm having a voltage creep issue. And another problem with the TPS creeping.... although I think the problems are linked. So other than that....I'll be posting a video of it running without boost within a week and as soon as the oil pump is finished I'll post some vids about how we made that as well. L8r guys ~ BG

haha don't ever be afraid to ask anything... even if it means these know it alls on here burn ya a few times! Yes I do have a BOV but since I'm using a mass air flow sensor I have to mount it before the sensor so it doesn't mess up the EFI. I'll be mounting it when I get the oil system done. But for now I'm still working out this voltage problem I'm having with my megasquirt. 12v goes in and 16-19v is shown on the realtime display. It's funky but I'm sure I'll figure it out before next mon. which is my next day off of work. So that means I have a whole week to play at work. That's where I get most of my ---- done. I love to get paid for my own ----...LOL

I'm gunna start out with about 3-5 psi and get an idea of how it likes it.... then I'll be moving up 3 psi at a time until I reach the limit of the MAP.... and if that doesn't get me around 150hp I'll go get me a MXP4400 "mapdaddy" and move right up the scale to around 30psi +.... and before all you guys start blabbing about how a 2 stroke can't take that much boost....

Since I have reeds... the boost will push past them into the bottom end evenly on each side(cyl) so the pressure difference on the center seal will still be the same as an NA motor. except for the fact that it will be boosted air..... get it...good!

If it were a rotary valve engine it might be a little different but still with the same result.
