Default bad relay?

had a quick question about the main relay.
how do you know if its bad?
when i put my ignition key in and turn it to the second click, the relay clicks rapidly and when i try to start it picks up pace(clicks faster).
would this be the reason my car wont turn over?

no, car turns over and i had jumpers on it anyways, just wont start, turns and turns no ignition.
also the ecu flashes in time with the relay.
and this is on a mpfi swapped car.

There's a ton of people who mpfi swap..and don't connect the grounds. Then they say, what the ----? At least you got it figured out.

if it clicks the power source is creating a magnetic field inside the relay causing the armature to close a circuit. It then in turn is working.
