i wish i had a couple pics of my friends sohc zc. his first time at the track he broke all kinds of ----. he over reved the first run and under reved the second. got the third one almost perfect but shattered his tranny in about 4 spots, ripped apart the rear motor mount and the passenger motormount, slammed the tps against the firewall, and broke an axle. all with just walmart douglas tires and minimal bolt ons. dont know wtf happened there.... this was a crx si tranny too, now he is rocking a std 4 speed in a si rex with a single cam zc.

 

if that is an Si tranny the diff carrier bearings are larger than a DX or 4speed. You should be able to swap the internals into an Si tranny case from the JY that doesnt shift well, grinds, sitting outside... etc

Or just keep it for backup syncros and gears...

I have my anti lag set to 6200rpms, sounds cool, builds 14 psi and rockets flames out the exhaust and dump tube...

I really don't like it though, I've 'heard' it can bend turbo shafts, fins and eat seals.. so I never use it.

Lots of muscle cars on sundays. Thats the reason I go.

Try and stay away from the imports on friday nights.

 

Can your ECU run gear based boost? I'd assume if it has anti-lag capabilities it can do that too. Not that it will help much leaving on 13psi, but might be a way to get some extra trans life
