Back from the Track w/ Slips. Broke my Tranny.*Pics up*
First run was more or less a test pass. I launched way too soft. Im used to preloading and launching on my rev limiter.
Now that Ive got an anti-lag its totally different. I didnt build enough boost and just bogged out of the hole. Hence the 1.999 60 ft.
Second run wasnt much better. I busted my 2nd gear in the burnout box. My own mistake. Ive been told not to shift in the burnout. But I did, and I felt something break.
I launched a bunch better on 2nd run with a 1.741 60 ft, but my 2nd gear locked out for a bit and then I just jammed it in and went from there.
All in all. Im very happy with my MPH for the power im making. A new trans and Ill be out there bringing back 10.99 very soon.
Most of you know my setup but here it is anyway.
90 STD hatch gutted.
z6 block w/ vitaras and eagles.
Y7 head stock with aem cam gear. z6 intake manifold and t/b stock.
Cast iron ebay manifold with holset h1c @ 22-23 psi. 3 inch DP. No exhaust.

Haha I couldnt hear ---- but my diff howling. Sounded like a car with straight cut gears but 5 times louder lol.
Yea its fun on the highway, but it just feels so much faster on the slicks.
I just need to make a clean pass !
